Young Research Symposium

Young Research Symposium

Young Research Symposium

The young researcher’s symposium (YRS) of IRT2026 will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, before the main symposium. Young researchers can make an oral presentation about their research and have a detailed discussion.

YRS will be a precious opportunity for young researchers to encounter groundbreaking research and build a global network. Applications for oral presentations (approx. 10 minutes) are open to doctoral students, postdocs, and researchers (within 7 years of receiving their PhD degree). Researchers applying to present a poster at the main symposium may also submit an abstract to the YRS. Those who are selected as oral speakers at the main symposium will not be eligible for oral presentations at the YRS. The maximum number of oral presenters is approximately 25, and the deadline of abstract submission is May 5. The committee will review the abstracts and make a decision on oral speakers

Additionally, anyone interested in the chemistry, biology, and pharmaceutical applications of nucleic acids is welcome to join the YRS audience.

The participation fee is 35 euros. The number of participants will be limited to a maximum of about 50 people (attendees must register to the main conference to register for the YRS)

Both if you would like to participate submitting an abstract or without presenting, please register via the IRT 2026 registration form.
